Flydubai’s inaugural flight landed at Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar, on Thursday night, marking a major milestone in boosting regional air connectivity. The flight was welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute, in line with aviation traditions for inaugural flights.
According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), the flight carried 164 passengers and was commemorated with a simple yet dignified cake-cutting ceremony at the airport.
First Departure from Peshawar to Dubai
Shortly after the arrival, Flydubai’s first outbound flight (FZ 375) departed for Dubai at 2:20 AM, carrying 184 passengers onboard. The smooth commencement of operations reflects Flydubai’s strategic expansion into Pakistan’s northern region.
Daily Flights to Boost Global Connectivity
The PAA confirmed that Flydubai will operate seven flights a week from Peshawar, significantly improving air connectivity to the Gulf region and beyond, including access to European destinations via Dubai.
