In her first statement following her release, supermodel Gigi Hadid has confirmed through her representative that she was arrested for possession of cannabis while on vacation in the Cayman Islands. According to Gigi Hadid’s representative, who shared a statement with the PA, the supermodel was traveling with marijuana that was legally purchased in New York City with a medical license. The representative further emphasized that cannabis has been legal for medical use in the Grand Cayman since 2017.
