National Bank Stadium Karachi Ready for ICC Champions Trophy 2025

The National Bank Stadium Karachi is now 100% structurally complete ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, with finishing work expected to be fully done by January 31.

During a media briefing, Project Manager Bilal Chauhan confirmed that:
✅ The ground floor has been fully completed, including rooms for the ICC Anti-Corruption & Anti-Doping units and match officials’ rooms.
First-floor dressing rooms are near completion.
24 hospitality boxes on the third and fourth floors are almost ready.
Chairman’s boxes and admin block on the fourth floor are in progress.
Two modern elevators have been installed, with an external lift to follow soon.
VVIP enclosures (Majid Khan & Zaheer Abbas) are under construction, nearing completion.
Lighting upgrades include six LED floodlights, almost fully installed.
✅ Two digital screens (80×30 ft & 20×30 ft) are being installed at Wasim Akram & Intikhab Alam enclosures.
Parking finalized for 2,700 vehicles, pending ICC approval.

Due to ongoing modifications, the stadium’s seating capacity has temporarily reduced from 32,000 to 28,000, though an additional 2,000 seats are available in the pavilion.

The Sindh government has also directed Karachi Metropolitan Corporation to ensure smooth logistics and spectator support.

With state-of-the-art upgrades, enhanced facilities, and modern infrastructure, National Bank Stadium is gearing up to deliver a world-class cricketing experience for Champions Trophy 2025! 🏏🔥
