With the HBL PSL 10 just around the corner, Peshawar Zalmi has launched a wave of content to energize fans, including a motivational short film featuring Mahira Khan, a new official anthem sung by Mustafa Zahid and Aima Baig, and a culturally rich jersey reveal under its women-empowerment initiative.
Star Power and Passion
The short film, starring Mahira Khan, portrays themes of resilience, spirit, and unity, while the anthem brings together powerful vocals and emotional visuals. The music video includes shots of Zalmi skipper Babar Azam and emerging star Saim Ayub in practice mode and engaging with fans—gearing up the energy for the season.
Pashto Anthem and Home Turf Hopes
Earlier this month, Zalmi also released a regional Pashto anthem performed by Raheem Shah, with scenes filmed at the Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar. The stadium, newly developed, is a symbol of Zalmi’s ongoing push to bring PSL matches back to their home city.
Jersey Designed by Empowered Women
On the same day, Zalmi revealed its new jersey for the season, modeled by Babar Azam, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris, and Tom Kohler-Cadmore. What sets this jersey apart is that it was designed by women from Haripur, trained under the ‘Dil Se Ba-Ikhtiar’ initiative — a program aimed at empowering women through vocational skills. The jersey reflects local craftsmanship, empowerment, and inclusivity.
Opening Clash
Zalmi begins their PSL 10 campaign on 12 April with a high-stakes match against Quetta Gladiators at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, adding an extra layer of anticipation to an already electrifying buildup.
