In a significant move toward sustainable energy, Power Cement Limited (POWER) has announced plans to commission a 7.5MW wind power project by the fiscal year 2026 (FY2026). The development was shared during the company’s corporate briefing session on Wednesday.
The project will feature a Goldwind turbine with a capacity of 7,500 kW and will be executed under a rental model, mirroring Power Cement’s current solar energy agreements.

-
34% from Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS)
-
6% from solar power
-
60% from the national grid via HESCO
